The Grandsons of Gostomysl: Rurik, Truvor, and Sineus (Ilya Glazunov, 1986)

This is an allegory of Russia’s beginnings, it symbolises the beginning of the Rurikid dynasty, a ruling house originally founded by Varangian (Viking) invaders.
