Rejoice in the lord, O ye Righteous! A video tribute to Bishop Job

An old Siberian “spiritual verse”, Tsaritsa Nebesnaya (O Heavenly Queen) is used as the audio backdrop to a tribute to Archbishop Job of Chicago. It is sung by the choir of Dormition parish in Yekaterinburg, RF.

Vladyki Job has suffered slander and character assassination by standing for integrity and decency in a current church crisis. He has always stood for the truth, and there have been those who have attacked him unmercifully. It must be said that his opponents are in fear of his honesty, forthrightness, and courage. Indeed, one of his detractors just ordained a convicted sex offender to minor orders.

Sotvori Gospodi na mnogaya lyeta, vladyko! May the Lord grant thee many years, O master!

I am not fit to stand in the presence of such a confessor of Christ.sence of such a confessor of Christ.
