Meet the Artist: Valery Mokrushin

Valery Mokrushin was born in Kirovo-Chepeck in 1954 and studied at the art school for children and at the Art College in Kirov. He graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute of V.I.Surikov in 1985. At present, he is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and has taken part in many exhibitions.

Papa Herman sent this to me after I made my comment about hideous “velvet” paintings. Isn’t this a hoot? I do NOT deserve friends such as this… but, the good Lord sends them… Thank you!
