A Portrait of Vera Repina (A Girl with a Bouquet) (Ilya Repin, 1878)

Again, I desired to take a break from the world of politics and strife. Today’s theme is “young people and children”. This is a portrait of Mr Repin’s daughter when she was just a little girl. Refreshing… our children can sometimes bring us back to an understanding of what is basic and needful, do they not?
