I do not believe that this painting is a representation of a given individual, otherwise, it would have a┬áparticular┬áname attached to it. Rather, I think that it is Mr Kirillov’s sardonic commentary on the so-called New Class businessmen and other assorted riff-raff. Take a good look… it does seem a bit tongue-in-cheek and sarcastic in its treatment of the subject, doesn’t it? It’s why no one cried when Khodorkovsky was taken down…
