I can hear the konvertsy complaints from here… whether you like it or not, there are quite a few icons of God the Father out there. I’ve even seen them at Jordanville, and I’ve venerated them willingly. Thousands of people saved their souls in front of such icons… that’s good enough for me. As for those who want “purity”… I say, be gone if you want that… the REAL Church is full of quirks and idiosyncrasies… and the odd contradiction or two. It was good for Paul and Silas… it’s good enough for me!
